breakfast places near me

Most of us have already heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps to boost metabolism and improve concentration.

What you might not know, however, is that while half of all Americans say that they want to eat breakfast every day, only one-third do. So why aren’t more of us managing to eat that all-important first meal of the day? Well, modern life can be pretty hectic, and many of us simply don’t have time to make homemade waffles or crispy bacon.

If you’re pining for pancakes or aching for eggs (but don’t have the time or the inclination to cook first thing in the morning), you’re not alone! Look no further because we’ve got you covered. Read on to learn where you can get some breakfast near you right now.

Breakfast In A Hurry

If you’re in a pinch looking for something that’s fast, filling, and affordable, then you can’t go wrong with a fast-food chain like McDonald’s or Subway. With almost 14,000 McDonald’s restaurants and 24,000 Subways across the US, you’re bound to have one near you. McDonald’s has breakfast items starting from as cheap as $1, while Subway’s ‘Steak, Egg & Cheese’ has resurrected many customers over the years.

Or, if you fancy something a bit different for breakfast, then you could always try out Taco Bell’s breakfast menu. If you haven’t tried their ‘Hash Brown Toasted Breakfast Burrito with Bacon’ yet, then you definitely should. You can thank us later!

Healthy Breakfast Options Near Me

If you’re watching your waistline (or are just looking for something a little healthier), then you might be lucky enough to have one of Jamba’s 700 stateside restaurants near you. Their smoothies, energy bowls, and oatmeal offer healthier breakfast options without compromising on taste.

However, if you aren’t lucky enough to have a Jamba near you, then there are still plenty of other healthy options to choose from. Coffee giant, Starbucks, has over 15,000 stores in the USA, and their breakfast menu has many healthier alternatives. The ‘Hearty Blueberry Oatmeal’ is a fan favorite, and the ‘Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich’ is extremely tasty.

Chick-fil-A is also catering to the rising demand for healthier fast-food options. Their ‘Egg White Grill’ is low in calories, high in protein, and tastes incredible. Or if egg whites aren’t your thing, then you could try the ‘Greek Yogurt Parfait’ for another protein-packed breakfast.

Dining Out For Breakfast

Do you feel like dining out of the house for breakfast? The top restaurants in this instance often include IHOP, Waffle House, and Denny’s. Between the three of them, there are over 5,000 restaurants across the US, so they have breakfast well covered regardless of the state you are in.

Their menus are all relatively similar as they offer up all of your breakfast favorites like waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. Just don’t go into Waffle House expecting pancakes (as that appears to be off the menu).

Denny’s and Waffle House both offer a value menu, which is an excellent addition if you’re a little short on cash or prefer something small for breakfast. Since their menus and prices are pretty comparable, it really comes down to which one is closest to you, or if you’re lucky enough to have all three nearby, the taste test!

If you’re a waffle fan, then you can’t go wrong with Waffle House (no surprise there). If it’s eggs, hash browns, or biscuits and gravy that get you going in the morning, we lean towards Denny’s. Last but not least, if you’re more of a pancake person, then our personal favorite has to be Ihop’s ‘Strawberry Banana Pancakes.’

We’ve gathered together a few videos below to help you make a decision (or leave you even hungrier and wanting to eat at all three).

Breakfast Delivered

If you don’t feel like changing out of your pajamas just yet, the good news is that all of the restaurants mentioned so far can be delivered straight to your door. With the rise of delivery companies (like Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and Doordash), comes a plethora of convenience. Many places that used to only have dine-in services now are catering to the delivery crowd.

Even Waffle House (one of the holdouts for a long time), finally succumbed to the call of home delivery earlier this year. After partnering with Postmates, they are armed and ready to enable our everlasting dream of waffles in bed.

So, whether you’re grabbing something to-go on your way to work, taking the family out to eat, or ordering Jamba to your couch, there should be plenty out there to choose from.

Enjoy your breakfast!
